WQB Mold Removal started the way most good local contracting outfits do: with a small crew that got tired of watching homeowners in Allentown, PA get quoted twice for the same job by companies that vanished halfway through.
Every technician we send to a Allentown property carries current IICRC-aligned training, a containment kit, and a moisture meter — not just a spray bottle and a smile.
WQB Mold Removal has passed inspection with Allentown, PA environmental and health authorities on remediation protocol, and we keep that documentation on file for every job.
Our approach starts with a moisture map of the whole affected area, because treating one wall while an adjacent cavity keeps feeding the problem just means a return visit six months later.
We also work directly with a network of Allentown-area contractors when a job needs drywall replacement, plumbing repair, or roofing work after remediation is complete, so you're not left juggling three different companies.
Some of the worst colonization in Allentown homes happens somewhere you'd never think to check.
A stale, damp smell that lingers even after cleaning usually means active growth somewhere behind drywall or under flooring. Our technicians can often narrow down the general location just from where the odor is strongest before ever opening a wall.
Water stains on a ceiling or wall, even old ones, mean moisture got somewhere it shouldn't have, and mold often follows within 24 to 48 hours. We can check behind an old repair with a moisture meter in under an hour to put your mind at ease either way.
Children and older family members often show symptoms first, since they're more sensitive to airborne spores. Air quality testing can confirm or rule out mold as the cause before you spend money chasing the wrong culprit.
By the time spotting is visible on a painted wall, the growth has usually been active for weeks already. A quick photo sent to our office can sometimes help us gauge urgency before you even schedule a visit.
From a single bathroom to a flooded crawl space, our Allentown crews scale the response to match the actual problem.
When a burst pipe or roof failure floods a Allentown property overnight, our on-call crew can be dispatched before the sun comes up. We also photograph the damage extensively on arrival, which helps considerably if you end up filing an insurance claim afterward.
Once remediation is complete, we run post-remediation verification testing so you have documentation the job actually worked. We'll also flag any structural repair the job needs and put you in touch with a trusted Allentown tradesperson if it's outside our scope.
Retail spaces, offices, and multi-unit buildings in Allentown, PA often need remediation scheduled around business hours to limit disruption. We're comfortable working evenings or weekends on commercial jobs when that's what keeps a Allentown business running without interruption.
Lab results typically come back within a few business days, giving you documented proof of what was found. A written inspection report is available for real estate transactions, refinancing, or your own peace of mind about a Allentown property.
These tight spaces require specialized equipment and technicians trained to work safely in confined areas. We often find the crawl space is the real source of a musty smell upstairs, even in Allentown homes where the visible living space looks perfectly clean.
Dehumidification recommendations and moisture monitoring can keep a treated space from becoming a repeat customer. Some Allentown, PA clients set up an annual moisture check with us, especially in older homes with a history of basement dampness.
No surprises, no vague timelines — here's exactly what happens once you call +1-844-578-1604.
Tell our dispatcher what you're seeing and smelling, and we'll get a technician on the calendar, often same-day for Allentown addresses. Photos texted ahead of time can help us prep faster.
We walk the property with a moisture meter and, when needed, take air or surface samples for lab analysis. You'll get a plain-language explanation of what we found before any decisions get made.
Negative air machines keep spores from traveling to unaffected rooms while the work is underway. We keep the work area as clean and orderly as the job allows throughout.
You'll get a written report you can keep for your records or share with an insurer. We'll also walk the space with you so nothing gets signed off without your input.
Our estimates are itemized line by line, which means you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
We keep a dedicated crew covering Allentown, PA so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
Every job includes documented before-and-after testing, not just a verbal assurance that "it's handled."
Our promise is simple: if the treated area shows regrowth tied to our workmanship within the warranty period, we return and correct it free of charge.
Plenty of companies will happily bill you for remediation on a repeat basis without ever mentioning the actual leak feeding the problem, and that's simply not how we operate in Allentown, PA.
Local reputation matters more to a small Allentown-area crew than a national franchise ever has to worry about, and that keeps us honest about scope, pricing, and timelines.
We stand behind every remediation job with a written guarantee, not just a handshake, because your peace of mind matters as much as the finished work.

The questions we hear before nearly every job.
Most Allentown calls get a technician on-site the same day, and active emergencies are prioritized ahead of routine inspections. If you're dealing with active water intrusion, mention that when you call so we can flag the job as urgent.
Yes — every job gets a flat-rate, itemized quote before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice at the end. If we discover additional damage once we open a wall, we'll stop and get your approval before doing any extra work or adding any cost.
Emergency dispatch is available 24/7 for situations where waiting even a day could worsen the damage. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
We collect air or surface samples and send them to an independent lab for species identification and spore-count analysis. Knowing the species matters because some, like Stachybotrys, call for stricter containment protocols than common surface mildew.
Some policies cover mold tied to a sudden pipe burst but exclude long-term humidity issues, so it's worth checking your specific policy language. We're glad to speak directly with your adjuster if that helps move your Allentown claim along faster.
A single bathroom or small closet can often be completed in a day, while larger crawl space or whole-home jobs may take three to five days. Drying time after water extraction can add a day or two before remediation itself even starts, depending on how saturated the materials were.
For most localized jobs, containment keeps the rest of the home livable, though we may recommend staying elsewhere for extensive whole-house treatment. We'll always tell you honestly if we think you should stay elsewhere rather than downplay it to keep the job simpler on our end.
Our containment and air scrubbing protocols are designed to protect the rest of the household while work is underway. HEPA filtration during the job significantly reduces airborne spore counts outside the sealed work area.
Post-remediation testing confirms spore counts returned to normal, and our guarantee covers regrowth tied to our workmanship. If the same conditions caused a prior remediation to fail, we'll flag that risk clearly before starting the new job.
Call +1-844-578-1604 to ask about current inspection options for your Allentown address, as availability can vary by season. Even a phone consultation before scheduling can help you understand whether what you're seeing warrants a visit.
Remediation focuses on removing the active colony and correcting the moisture source so the environment no longer supports abnormal growth. What actually matters is whether your indoor levels match what's normal for outdoor air in Allentown, PA, and testing confirms that.
DIY treatment can also mask a problem temporarily, which sometimes delays proper remediation until the issue has spread further. Bleach also doesn't address whatever moisture condition allowed mold to grow in the first place, so the same spot often returns within weeks.
